A handful of people emailed me complaining that they had difficulty ordering my book from Amazon.com.
I have no idea why. It shouldn't say 1-3 weeks for delivery. That's ree-diculous. I emailed the help desk to try and find out what's going on.
In the meantime, when you order the How to be That Guy, do so through the store on my website. It's a heckuva lot easier that way and I can personally autograph each copy too.
Sorry about this folks. Friggin' Amazon.
LET ME ASK YA THIS...
Have you ever had ordering/service problems with Amazon?
LET ME SUGGEST THIS...
If you sell goods online; always have more that one payment option.

If I order a copy from your store, will you autograph it and draw a little picture on the inside for me?
and. I would like to read one of them (maybe all) because a little bird told me you're a heck of a writer. I've enjoyed your blog a lot. Which one would you suggest I start with, Mr. Man?
Aw shucks, thanks Lish. I'll get you all three books when you come to town. Then read them in chronological order. Or maybe reverse chrono, that might be cool.
I usually receive great service from Amazon. I buy something a couple times a month. But I ordered three copies of your new book on Aug. 4 and the estimated delivery is the 25th.
The anticipation builds.
I already let you know via email, but so everyone else knows...
I ordered the book and a week later, it still hadn't shipped. Disgusted, I cancelled my order and ordered directly through your site. Which probably gives you more money per book anyway. :)
Thankfully, Amazon's cancellation process was no problem. And they don't charge your card until they ship, so no problems there either.
Thanks Tim.
Yeah, really sorry about this. I've sent about 60 books to Amazon in the past two weeks, so I don't know what the hold up is.
Maybe the books got held up at security for carrying water bottles on the plane.
