FastPitch is a online networking company that helps you develop a clear, concise summary about your business which can be easily understood by thousands of professionals eager to do business with you.
Often called the 'Business Resume," the Fast Pitch! Profile summarizes important aspects of your business allowing you to "cut to the chase" and tell people exactly what you have to offer.(Thanks for the link Phil.)
It's pretty cool. Not sure how effective it's going to be, but I just signed up for the heck of it to see what it's all about. Here are some of the offerings:

2) Tell the world about your business
3) Join the growing FastPitch community
4) Pitch your Business online during free "events" with other professionals
5) Google your pitch and market your profile to the world
6) Email your pitch with "no-nonsense" advertising to the Fast Pitch Nation
LET ME ASK YA THIS...
What's your favorite technique for Internetworking?

FastPitch is good. But it can be better if it is applicable to all countries. :)
Scott, you sure sign up for tons of different services. How do you keep track of them all?
Tim's got a good point!!!
That's a really cool idea though, that FastPitch stuff.
I still maintain my LinkedIn online networking contacts.
Fast Pitch. Hmmm...interesting. Though I can state with certainty that I hosted the first SpeedNetworking event in San Francisco in January, 2005. I actively discourages sales pitches, provided no liquor or food.
I think most f2f networking events these days are still rooted in the college fraternity/sorority mixer model that are more often than not occasions to hook up with potential dating partners. This may suit extroverts, but it is hard work for us introverts.
Actually, it was Nov. 2003 for speed networking and it was originally for the Fast Company Company of Friends network.
If you are going to make a claim to fame make it a strong claim.
How do I keep up with it? It's all part of my fully intergrated master networking system.
By which I mean "post it notes."
Just kidding. Good point. Keeping up with all the marketing "tent poles" in the ground is tough. But you try to stay on top of all of them.
Fast Pitch facilitated their first event in September 2003... and makes the claim that they are the first company to take the concept national. They were also first to market with a nationwide online networking platform using webcast technology.
Definately worth checking out... they have scaled their offering quite a bit now adding press, blogs, media, etc to their sites. Its an awesome platform for networking and marketing
