The Christian Science Monitor ran my OpEd about Jeff's article!

(This is the third post in a series of incidents regarding an article by Jeff Shaffer in the August 26th issue of the Christian Science Monitor.)

This is the first time I've ever written a letter to the editor. Mainly because it's the first time I've ever read an article about why people should wear nametags.

LET ME ASK YA THIS...

When you read newspapers and magazines, do you read the letters to the editor?

The answer is Yes. Comes from being an editor on my college newspaper. Meant it was content that I did not have to generate and often times hilarious impacts on a small Christian college.

PS your subscribers number 51 on Bloglines. It is nice to see your readership is growing.

Great Optimism

i pretty much always read the letters to the editor, yup.

The Letters to the Editor section is the first thing I read in my morning paper and also in most magazines that I read. It's the only real place, I think, to take the pulse of the people.

You learn so much about what people are thinking.

Often, after reading a letter, I'll go back and look up the refrenced article I missed just to see for myself what the person is talking about.

Dear Scott, thanks for another super article, i just love this site, thanks for the hard work.
