The Second Domain of Approachability™ is: capable of being reached.
In other words...
- If you have your business cards with you at all times,
- If you include email signatures at the end of your letters,
- If you cross reference contact information on all materials and websites,
- And if you return your calls and messages as soon as you can,
You are capable of being reached. You are approachable. Your front porch is open for business.
LET ME ASK YA THIS...
How else can you make yourself capable of being reached?

hmmm, i guess having a cell phone and answering it helps make one approachable.
personally i dread answering calls from unknown numbers, but I try to force myself to do so anyway.
mostly because i hate it when other people screen my calls.
One thing that originally impressed me about my boss (and still does) is that we, at the office, are never to ask who a caller is before connecting a call to him. He will pick up the phone and talk to ANYONE who calls for him! In this day and age I think this is VERY special!
Dear Scott, thanks for another super article, i just love this site, thanks for the hard work.
